Expand AllBreakfast at the hotel before leaving Nghia Lo for Mu Cang Chai. The route follows National Highway 32, crossing the impressive Khau Pha Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in Northern Vietnam. Along the way, several viewpoints provide excellent opportunities to admire the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges.
Visit La Pan Tan and Mam Xoi Hill, home to some of the country's most famous terraced rice fields. Created by generations of H'Mong farmers, these terraces have become one of the defining landscapes of Northwest Vietnam and are especially impressive during the rice-growing and harvest seasons.
Continue to Sapa in the afternoon. Located at an altitude of over 1,500 metres above sea level, Sapa is one of Vietnam's best-known mountain destinations, renowned for its cool climate and diverse ethnic communities. Arrive in Sapa, check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Begin the day with a ride on the Fansipan Cable Car to the summit of Fansipan (3,143m), the highest peak in Indochina. Visit the mountaintop spiritual complex, including pagodas and the Great Buddha statue, while enjoying panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range.
In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H'Mong people. Walk through the village to see traditional wooden houses, local handicraft workshops, terraced fields, and Cat Cat Waterfall, while learning about the culture and daily life of the local community.
Return to Sapa Town in the late afternoon. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the town at your own pace.

Leave Sapa after breakfast and travel towards Bac Ha, one of the most culturally diverse regions in Northern Vietnam. If your journey takes place on a Sunday, visit the famous Bac Ha Market, where members of the Flower H'Mong, Tay, Nung, Dao, and several other ethnic groups gather to trade livestock, fresh produce, textiles, and traditional handicrafts. The market offers a fascinating insight into the daily life and long-standing trading traditions of the local communities.
On weekdays, the itinerary includes a visit to Hoang A Tuong Palace, an impressive residence combining French colonial and Chinese architectural influences. Built in the early 20th century, the palace reflects the unique history of the former H'Mong rulers in the region.
Continue the journey to Ha Giang, passing mountain valleys, rural villages, and winding roads before arriving in the provincial capital in the late afternoon. After checking in at your hotel, the remainder of the evening is free to relax and prepare for the next day's exploration of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.

Depart from Ha Giang and begin your journey through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, one of Vietnam's most remarkable mountain regions. Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate to enjoy panoramic views of the valley before continuing to the Quan Ba Twin Mountains, a well-known natural landmark in Ha Giang.
Continue to Yen Minh, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Vuong Family Palace (H'Mong King's Palace). Built in the early 20th century, the palace was once home to the Vuong family, one of the most influential H'Mong families in the region.
The journey continues along the mountain road to Dong Van, with several photo stops at scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in Dong Van Old Quarter, check in to your hotel, then enjoy some free time to explore the old streets, local cafés, and small shops before dinner.

Leave Dong Van after breakfast and continue along the scenic mountain road to Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most iconic mountain passes in Vietnam. Stop at several viewpoints overlooking the Nho Que River and the surrounding limestone mountains before continuing to Meo Vac.Begin the return journey to Hanoi, passing through the mountain districts of Ha Giang Province. Lunch is served at a local restaurant en route, with several short stops along the way for refreshments and rest.
Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 6 Days 5 Nights adventure through the majestic mountains of Northern Vietnam.
