Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh arrival
Our driver picks you up from airport and check in hotel. (Check-in time: 2pm)
Kindly find your name in our driver’s name board!
It takes 45 – 60 minutes from airport to the hotel
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi tunnel full day (B-L)
07:45 Pick up you at meeting point or hotels, start to downtown of Ho Chi Minh for touring along the famous Dong Khoi street, passing by the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral & central Post Office and Independent Palace. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we are heading to Hoc Mon District to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, is 70 kilometers Northwest of down-town Ho Chi Minh City. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French.
Back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B-L-D)
07:45 Departing from hotel and arriving in Ben Tre around
10:00 Then boarding a motorboat and cruising through beautiful rivers and canals where coconut trees line perfectly along both sides. Reaching a bee-keeping farm where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử – A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit as well as honey tea can be tasted (included). Then slowly proceeding to a workshop where coconut candies are made and have a chance to learn the coconut candies making process.
Afterward, being on a cart powered by a motorbike and traveling through some tranquil villages where rice fields, vegetables gardens… can be seen and admired.
Before heading to lunch, taking a ride on a hand-rowing boat and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lunch is served at a restaurant by the river. After lunch, boarding the motorboat and heading back to Ben Tre.
15:00 leaving Ben Tre for Can Tho. Checking in the hotel upon arrival and have dinner, afterward there is free time for sightseeing (including FOC bus transfer service to Ninh Kieu wharf and back to the hotel).
Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho – Cai Rang – Ho Chi Minh (B)
06:00 Have an early breakfast at the hotel and checking out the room.
06:30 – 07:00 Being at a wharf to board a motorboat for sightseeing the Cai Rang Floating Market which is the biggest and most colorful floating market in the Mekong Delta’s region.
In the very early morning, the river has become a busy commercial site where hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants and foods…line along the river and are ready for trading. Sellers will hang samples of what they are selling on the top of a long pole on their boats so that buyers can see from a distance what sellers are selling.
After the Cai Rang market, continuing cruising through small creeks to a local orchard and enjoying tropical seasonal fruits (included).
10:30 returning back to the hotel and have free time for lunch (at own expense).
12:00 going back to Saigon with a small stop-over at Vinh Long market. Then, going across the My Thuan suspension bridge and taking a short break at Mekong Rest Stop and returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 5: Departure (B)
It’s an easy and relaxing day. (Check-out time: 12pm)
Our driver only will transfer you to airport.
