The entire planning, discussion and booking processes were done seamlessly via WhatsApp and email. Payment can be made online in our local currency and the exchange rate is based on the online rate at the time of payment (no hike up of rate whatsoever).2. Good communication skills. Ms Smiley and the guide who was assigned to us spoke English well. There were no miscommunications at all.3. Very caring and attentive. Kudos to Ms Smiley for always checking in with us. Few days prior to departure, Ms Smiley updated us on the weather and what to pack. During our trip, she will message every evening to enquire about our day and to make sure everything went according to plans. After we have flown home, Ms Smiley continued to message us to make sure we have arrived safely.4. Constantly asking for feedbacks. This shows Jacky Vietnam Travel values customers opinions and is keen to keep improving.5. Flexible arrangements. I wasn’t very keen on some of the ‘typical Ninh Binh itineraries’. Ms Smiley was very accommodating and allowed me to choose the places that I would like to visit. So glad that we visited the less touristy Van Long Nature Reserve. It was so serene and beautiful. We also had fun riding on a cow cart around Tam Coc village.6. During our Hanoi city trip, we couldn’t visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum as it was unexpectedly closed for US President Joe Biden’s visit. Ms Smiley was very kind to rearrange the visit for us 2 days later after we returned from Halong Bay.I will definitely engage Jacky Travel again for my future visits to Vietnam.read more

I have utilized Jacky Travel for my Vietnam travel adventures in Saigon and Hanoi. My first experience was in December... 2022 in Southern Vietnam for visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta. I went on a solo adventure that time, and I felt safe the entire time. My trip was arranged by Jacky Travel, which included airport transport to the hotel, transportation from hotel to all tours, tour activities, and providing clean hotels with free breakfast at an affordable price. My recent experience in June 2023 was in Hanoi for 7 days with 3 other people (family and friends). It included tours to Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Halong Bay. Again, all of the transportation, breakfast and lunch, hotel accommodations, and tour guides were provided and arranged by Jacky Travel. I did not have to “think” about planning the trip and was able to enjoy the vacation and beauty of Vietnam without worrying. Jacky Travel contacted me every day to see if I was doing okay and provided excellent communication when needed. In Hanoi, we got a city tour that included a nice view of the Hoan Kiem Lake. We got to eat many different kinds of Vietnamese foods as well, including pho, lychee, fruit dessert, and banh mi. We got educated on how to cross the busy streets, and learned some Vietnamese history as well. In Sapa, we were transported on a van, which was a lot nicer and more comfortable than the huge buses. We were greeted by the tour guide, May, who was a very kind and hardworking individual. She showed us the amazing terraced rice fields and gave us insight on her ethnic background of the Red Zao group living in Vietnam. Seeing the way of life in Sapa or Vietnam in general has definitely made me much more grateful for everything I have. In Ninh Binh, we were guided by Viktor. He contacted us the night before for transportation details, which I appreciated. He picked us up from the hotel promptly and showed us three different places in Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, and Mua Cave). He helped us get onto the boat ride, which lasted a little over an hour. He also rode a bicycle around the village and walked the 400+ steps of the Mua Cave with the group, which was impressive. Not only that, he took a photo of us with his drone near the top of the 400+ steps. Viktor definitely went above and beyond for the large group tour.In Halong Bay, we stayed overnight in a comfortable room with a great view of the Ha Long Bay. There was a lunch buffet, dinner, early breakfast and lunch provided on the cruise. All of the cruise employees were kind and helpful as well. We had issues with the hotel cruise toilet, but it was immediately fixed by a kind, cleaning lady on Rita Cruise. The sunset in the Ha Long Bay is a must-see. I provided photos of the trip to show how beautiful Hanoi is.I would also like to mention that all of the tour guides had great English-speaking skills, even though it is not their first language. I am glad I met Jackie and Jacky Travel, because my trip wouldn’t have been as fun or effortless without them. I recommend them to organize your next trip to Vietnam, and I plan to use them in the future. Vietnam is full of beauty, history, hardship, food, culture, and amazing people. "Exceptional service" are the words I would describe on the type of service my travel group received from Jacky Vietnam... Travel!! All we had to do was sit back and relax and enjoy Hanoi. The four-day tour package we chose was comprehensive and well-planned and at a great price! The travel agency took care of everything from the time they picked us up from the airport to the time we left. The hotels were centrally located and the meals were excellent (all the meals were included in the tour package). The tours were wonderful, which included a Hanoi city tour, an overnight Halong Bay cruise, exploring caves, hiking, riding a Sampan Boat and biking. We even had a cooking class on the cruise. They went over and beyond of what we expected from a travel agency. They truly made us feel welcomed. Ms. Smiley helped us get our Vietnam visas prior to our departure and helped us get sim cards. They even provided a birthday cake for two of our travel members. Our tour guide Bui Phong was the greatest!! He made sure everyone had a great time and tried his best to accommodate all our needs. He even made our bus rides not seem so long by entertaining us. We hope to get him again in our future travels. Very responsive to inquiries and even small requests. patiently answers questions on Whatsapp and explains the details of their pricing. no hidden charges!2. carefully selected local tour operators such as our Alisa Premier overnight Cruise and Ninh Binh day tour. we thoroughly enjoyed the luxury tours arranged by Jacky. everything was good! the rooms, food, activities and bus rides. very comfortable and safe.3. hotel selection/recommendations were also very good. our first room was rather small and had poor wifi connection but this was quickly corrected. our second room at Hong Ngoc was spacious, clean and had good wifi! not to mention great breakfast and delicious coffee!4. walking foodie tour was a pleasant surprise since we usually go DIY in the countries we visit. our guide Bùi Phong spoke great English, was very friendly and took us to all the secret places where we can get the best local Viet food. we had breakfast, snacks, egg coffee, and bun cha lunch in 3hrs. burp!5. Covid-19 pandemic put some challenge on tourism as there are things you cannot do solo unless you’re willing to pay extra. Thanks to Jacky for maximizing what I can do on my budget without sacrificing my travel experience by making sure that the itinerary is efficient and packed.Also, Hanoi is not that popular destination for a Filipino like me and not everything you can google is realistic thus, it’s better to trust people who have been doing this local tour management for years. I checked their FB’s background and impressed with what clients have said.Jacky does the overall coordination from transfers, accommodation and tours. He made sure that the itinerary is strictly followed so I felt so safe and not having any uncertainties on what could happen next. I think that’s the best advantage of having a package tour as doing DIY will tend you to extend on some location and most likely not finished your itinerary completely. Also, since everything was paid ahead, you will not worry to get short on your fund - management of money is something you consider for sure.Lastly, the best thing was that Jacky arranged tours based on my preference - you can customized your tour and Jacky will arrange things to join you in other so you will not end up spending more. I wasn't sure what to expect, Jacky give me very good recommendation. We went for 6days Hue, Hoi An, Danang tour. The food they arrange was incredible good and friendly tour guide everyday, surprisely we really cover all the itinerary as plan which is a lot, I still can't believe we made it. It's very impressive when the hotel air-con not working well in Hoi An. I FB messenger Jacky travel where the office is in Hanoi and I at Hoi An. Almost immediately Jacky travel contract the hotel, and within 5min the hotel staff bring up a fan and promise will help us change to another room the next day (hotel was fully book that day) while we go for day tour. I saw Jacky Vietnam Travel thru Suggested Post. So i sent him all my inquiries and jacky replied immediately. Giving me... all the details of the tours. Suggesting what is suited for my preference. Financially, it was based on a "trusted transactions" because there was no money involved like him asking for down payment and all. On our first day in Hanoi, jacky met us for some briefing. He handed us local souvenirs, showed us a few tourist spots, and treated us to a quaint coffeeshop (which i adored!). All for free! Jacky was warm and friendly and professional. And because of his good doings any tourists would easily have this impression that all Viets are equally as kind as him. All the details that we agreed upon prior to our arrival in Hanoi was completely delivered. On our Ninh Binh Tour, the scooter that i requested, instead of bike, was provided. (Sorry i dont know how to ride a bike. Poor me!). Up until our last night he himself showed at our hotel to get feedbacks and all. Again he handed us another souvenirs and delicacy made from his hometown. Even when we were already at the airport he sent a message asking if we are okay. I only have good words for this guy and his efficient staffs who did all the follow ups during those in-betweens. You guys made our Hanoi Trip trully a memorable one. Took a chance and contacted Jacky after reading some reviews about Jacky Vietnam Travel and it turned out to be the... best thing I did.. I was looking for an guide who can assure me of a safe and problem free trip as I was traveling without my husband but my teenage son.Booking the tour wt Jacky was easy. We had some ideas what we wanted covered but we were also opened to suggestions. With that Jacky came out with some recommendations. He was very transparent wt the prices and the different level of services/quality of tours according to monies spent.A couple of days before our departure, my son fell sick and couldn't make it for the trip.. with all the uncertainties, Jacky never once pressured me. He was very patient allowing me to work out alternative arrangements.I eventually made it to the trip wt a different traveling companion and changes to accommodation and tour activities have to be made. Jacky was very accommodating, and worked hard to assist us wt the changes even though it was very last minute.The end result.... I truly enjoyed my trip. The accommodation and tour activities were more than satisfying but more importantly, Jacky kept checking in on us even when he was not scheduled to be wt us on certain activities... He even invited us over to his home for a home cooked dinner wt his wife! Now that is hospitality.. mind you this young couple can cook up a mean meal in a jiffy....!!!I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a local guide in Vietnam to consider their service. ���read more
